Hayfork Cabernet Sauvignon 2012/2013 blend is impressive, plush, and complex under $100. Dark purple, full-bodied, and has a nose of blackberry, leather, and dried oregano. Tastes of boyenberry, milk chocolate, rosemary, and cedar with a plush finish and 14.9% alcohol. Seamlessness is lovely and has the stuffing to go for 3-5 more years – but no need to wait, it’s an incredible surprise.

Deep garnet-purple in color, it slips sensuously out of the glass with provocative scents of boysenberries, plum preserves, cassis and underbrush, with hints of pencil shavings and charcoal. The full-bodied palate is wonderfully spicy with tons of juicy black fruits and a long opulent finish.
