Wine Description
Elegant, fresh, mineral and fruit laden bouquet with flavours of sweet grapefruit and lemon, white peach and dried pineapple. There’s a fine satin texture as the wine touches the palate with a core of fresh citrus and tropical fruits, salivating acidity and a saline layer adding extra mouthfeel. A dried herb quality emerges on the finish.

John Sullivan –
Soft acidity and prominent gooseberry notes on the palate.
Carlton Betzer –
Nose: Orange zest. Taste: Light acidity, good length, minerality.
Christine Swoopes –
Smooth Marlborough Sauv without harsh acidity. No notes taken.
Raul Gayman –
Review: Classic NZ SB with notes of fresh cut grass, gooseberries, and lime on the nose. Slightly metallic with high acidity. Loses aroma quickly. (B)
Mable Thomas –
Decent SB, not top at $20. Dry, good acidity, light to medium body.
Glenn Kinser –
Well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay with pear, melon, and litchi notes. Full-bodied with a fresh acidity and touch of bitterness. Pleasant and enjoyable.
Lori Villanova –
Grassy with various aromatics, similar to a California SB. Not my preference.
Sal Shelby –
Fresh and green with a touch of residual sugar on the palate. Tight grip with a gooseberry flavor.
Joyce Koop –
A well-made wine from EH’s Gimblett Gravels vineyard. Interesting taste with nice and rounded tropical flavors. Easy drinking without being boring. Worth the price.
Judy Kocher –
Review: Crispy with high acidity, citrus and passion fruit flavors, fair complexity, great intensity and finish. Unripe green scent can be unpleasant.
Michael Hanlon –
Citrus and fruit flavors make it inviting.
