The Walls 2019 Bellamy Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in concrete and stainless steel tanks. Native yeast with cold soaks for up to 5 days. Macerations up to 33 days. 100% free-run. Aged in 68% new French oak large format vessels.
This is our flagship cabernet sauvignon from the Walla Walla Valley. It provides a nice contrast to the Curiositas, which is from Red Mountain in that it is more feminine and Bordelaise on the nose and palate.

    1. Gaylord Melton

Nose: barnyard and tobacco. Palate: a little hot, nice finish. Pairing: strong nutty cheese & fireplace.

    2. May Faulkner

Bellamy is 80% River Rock Vineyard Cabernet, 20% other suspects. Sweet and floral nose, medium-bodied, blueberry, subtle spices, firm tannins, lasting finish. Beguiling, excellent. $58.

    3. Gerald Zeiner

Balanced and velvety, with big blackberry fruit and notes of mineral and cedar. Let it breathe for five hours for the best experience.

    4. Imogene Pritchett

River Rock Vineyard in Walla Walla Valley offers a ripe and juicy experience with raspberry ganache notes and 5-10% Petit Verdot.

    5. Ronald Miller

Balanced, good cab blend, silky mouthfeel.

    6. Elizabeth Conn

Impressive wine. Day one was balanced with fruit and sense of place. Day two was a bit of a letdown, but after ten days, the final glass was incredible.

The 2019 Bellamy offers a ripe, rounded, sexy style loaded with ripe plum and blackberry fruits as well as tobacco, meaty herbs, pot roast, cedar pencil, and floral aromas and flavors. It’s also terrific on the palate, offering full-bodied richness and ripe, velvety tannins. It’s going to drink brilliantly pretty much right out of the gate, yet I suspect it will keep for two decades.

Nestled in the southeastern corner of Washington State, with its graceful extension into Oregon, the Walla Walla Valley AVA is an exquisite illustration of how geography and passion merge to define exceptional winemaking regions. This picturesque valley, cradling vineyards on both sides of the state border, flourishes amidst rolling hills and the serpentine Walla Walla River, a tributary of the mighty Columbia River.
