    1. Carl Raby

Dark ruby fruit with rich flavors of dark berries, chocolate/mocha, and baking spices. Solid depth and concentration with a fairly long finish. A great value at $60.

    2. Jeanine Dow

Structured and less ready than 2015. Dark fruit, cassis, and graphite. Acidic finish. Wait 3-5 yrs.

    3. Kathleen Johnson

Great value, strong character, dark color and nose with blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, dark cranberries, pencil shavings, and tobacco. Good structure, a bit dry and tart. 92+ Points.

    4. Martha Albair

Great discovery, enjoyable presently but aging will enhance the taste.

    5. Irene Williams

Bright and youthful with floral, cedar, and leather notes. Medium to dark red with a 20-30 second finish.

    6. John Wilson

Previous review available, no additional comments.

    7. William Banvelos

Easy-drinking wine that will age well if I can resist opening it.

    8. James Neptune

Drink now, good value but not as good as Caymus special selection. Enjoy within 5-10 years.

    9. Samuel Chase

Decent second wine from Fait Main, not as good as Sleeping Lady or previous vintage. Sweet dark fruit and menthol nose, blackberry and tobacco hints. Short to medium finish, pairs well with garlic crusted hangar steak and potato galette. $60 price point is good for Napa juice.

    10. Thomas Gandy

Juicy, dark red Cabernet blend with notes of blackberry, cocoa powder, and menthol. Lush flavors of blueberry pie, milk chocolate, anise, and white pepper. Blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Sirah, 5% Charbono, and 5% Zinfandel. 14.8% alcohol. Tasty middle-tier wine under $70. 93+.

    11. Erick Zent

Average wine, lacking depth and complexity. Overrated with a 95 rating by JD.

    12. Doris Price

A well-balanced wine with rich plum and blackberry flavors, hints of leather and oak, and soft ripe tannins. The finish is smooth with more fruit and cassis. Perfect with rack of lamb.

    13. John Burton

The 2017 Teeter Totter is a divisive wine with high tannin, high acid, and punchy fruit. It has a nose of plum, cherry, fig, and caramel with a palate of sweet fruit, roast oak, vanilla, and burnt sugar. The finish is confected with black tannin and VA. It’s like Rebel Wilson in lingerie – you can’t stop staring, but you’re not sure if you like it.

    14. Christopher Smart

Black fruit and menthol on the nose – M+ intensity … good power but little light on complexity on the palate. Tannins stick out a bit right now… Drank without food after dinner.

    15. Marie Gannon

Disliked the 2017 Teeter Totter. Too sweet and red-fruited compared to the usual blackberry and cassis. Won’t drink again, waiting for the 2018.

    16. Renae Steelman

      Great taste. Winner!

    17. Paul Jones

Flavorful but lacks complexity and doesn’t develop in the glass.

    18. Melissa Schafer

Velvety palate, with mixed berry, vanilla, and cinnamon on the nose. Good acidity and firm tannins. Great value for a ’17 Napa Cab.

    19. Ryan Mckenzie

Fruit-forward and enjoyable, but lacks depth. Unsure if worth the $65 price tag. Will try aging another bottle.

    20. Jesus Griffin

Full-bodied, rich fruit with cassis, blackcurrants and blackberries. Touch of cigar spice on the long, silky finish. Perfect with Rib Eye.

    21. Latasha Avila

Vintage not up to par compared to previous years, still good but not worth the price. Prefer other options at this price point.

    22. Glenn Pelcher

      No review provided.

    23. Emily Brunson

Impressively developed for a young wine.

    24. Thomas Garrett

Balanced and fruity with great value. A quick disappearing bottle.

    25. Dewayne Newsome

Medium to dark red. Ripe blackberry and strawberry scents. Consistent taste with lots of ripe fruit and less tannins.

    26. Hubert Howle

Great value Napa Cab. Dark fruit, chocolate, full bodied with grippy tannins. Best after 2 hour decant.

    27. Omar Dickow

(5/5) – Dark ruby, purple rim. Beautiful. (13/15) – Warms up with dark cherry, blackberry, blueberries, floral aromatics. (17/20) – Smooth, enjoyable now. Needs 6 months in bottle, tannins need integration. (8/10) – Fantastic QPR. Great for young 2018’s.

    28. Misty Harper

’16 was great, but this one is a winner too. Best with a long decant. Ripe, juicy, chewy and crunchy style. Solid 93 points.

    29. Fredrick Murdy

      Great PnP tonight!

    30. Diane Guetersloh

Consistent notes, identical to first bottle.

    31. Kevin Mullins

Unexpectedly delightful Napa cab with notes of cassis. Dark and dense. Not your average gift wine.

    32. Duane Maker

Delayed opening, but worth the wait. Fantastic wine. Cheers 🍷

    33. Gina Lastrapes

Impressive with tight, fresh, dense fruit and sturdy tannins. Unfortunately, ABV is high at 14.8%.

    34. Tyler Fletcher

Benoit Touquette’s wine has notes of vanilla. Needs decanting or aging.

    35. Robert Parvin

A well-balanced bottle with ripe fruit and intense flavors.

    36. David Gallegos

Big, dark wine with berry flavors and nice tannins. 92.5 points from me, 95 from Dunnuck. Good value.

    37. Barbara Desai

Well-decanted Napa with a noticeable but well-integrated oak. Great value.

    38. Jessica Morales

BT’s TT is a gorgeous wine, with dark berries, plums, roasted cedar, mocha and black licorice notes. The finish adds sweet tannins with a healthy dose of dark cocoa. Wonderful wine! Cheers!

    39. Jillian Felix

No answer can be given as the existing review simply says “See prior notes.”

    40. Derek Daniels

Refer to previous notes and savor.

    41. Bobby Alvarez

One dimensional, fruit forward Cab with mixed berries and cinnamon. Medium finish, not suitable for aging.

    42. Gladys Kim

Outrageously good wine at $52. Deep purple, subtle nose, great fruit, full body, robust yet soft tannins. A+++

    43. Robert Miracle

Fruit-forward with a long finish, but tartness prevents a higher rating. Planning to try a second bottle for reconsideration.

    44. Clarence Currin

Question about Teetor Totter 2018 vs 2019 vintage. Need input from those familiar with both. Thank you.

    45. Kathleen Pratt

      Review: Enjoyable with company.

    46. Lauren Bratton

Smooth and balanced with no tannins. Perfect for hosting guests.

    47. Scott Drake

Svelte bottle, no tannin, dark & grainy on 2nd day, no need to age, needs air time, enjoyable.

    48. Tonia Walker

      Thomas’ favorite, a good choice.

    49. Errol Trevino

      Same as before.

    50. Evelyn Sims

Balanced and composed with medium body and ripe blue fruit, but lacks power for the price.

    51. Ethan Lewis

Consistent with my last review from 12/2020, this weeknight wine is still very enjoyable.

    52. Manuel Stallsworth

Average wine with simple blue and black fruit flavors, medium body and tart finish. Lacks complexity. Well-made but lacks the “yum” factor. Reasonably priced for <$60. similar to the 2015.

    53. Rodolfo Daniels

      Delicious, yet pricey.

    54. Robin Riendeau

Boozy with earthy flavor, but improves with decanter. Medium tannins and pleasant nose.

    55. Karl Theis

Not worth the price, but new world drinkers may enjoy it.

    56. William Steins

Dark and fruity with notes of blackberry, plum, and chocolate. Great for drinking now or aging.

    57. Wm Howell

Pleasing and balanced Bordeaux with subtle green pepper, dark fruit notes, and 14% alcohol. Good wine.

    58. Patrick Thomas

R&R’s Friday Night Brown Bagger: Dark, full-bodied Napa cab sauv with black fruit, vanilla, and brown sugar aromas. Tannic with ripe fruit flavors.

    59. Omar Berry

      Delightful discovery. Inexpensive and satisfying.

    60. Maurice Killian

Luscious, luxurious Cab that doesn’t overpower. Well done.

    61. Gemma Robins

’17 Teeter-Totter: Easy drinker, slight herbal aftertaste. Not as exceptional as ’19. Early drinker, no rush.

    62. Kimberley Wagner

Enjoyed it at Total Wine & More tasting, bought a bottle for dinner. Medium body, silky tannins, very pleasant.

    63. Ralph Ayers

Solid wine, good to serve anytime. Decanted due to light sediment but drinking well now.

    64. Jason Ferguson

      Top cab, stocking up!

    65. James Young

Excellent value wine from Benoit. No formal notes.

    66. Lois Rutkowski

Approachable and great out of the bottle.

    67. Douglas Sak

Crimson wine with dark berry flavors and apparent tannins. Needs time to breathe but enjoyable. Could improve with cellaring. 90+/91 points.

    68. Dominique Mckinney

Magenta with red fruit aroma, medium body, tart finish, chalky notes, and grippy mouthfeel. Enjoyed, but prefer others in this weight class.

    69. Joshua Lineberger

Arpeggio’s PnP for Ben’s 6th bday took 45 mins to open up. Good, not great.

    70. Blanche Brownfield

Luscious wine with sweet dark fruit and well-integrated oak, but lacks character. Great value for the price.

    71. CWA

The brand new Teeter-Totter is another winner from this rising star winemaker, displaying his craftsmanship and defying the relatively humble price (considering the pedigree and profile). An impressive array of sumptuous dark fruit flavors seduce your palate with a velvety smooth texture. Fresh blackberry and blueberry plus creamy vanilla notes combine with bold tannins that will offer graceful aging for the next 3 – 5 years. Well done!

    72. Edison Leesman

Initial impression of this cute animal label wine was favorable. However, the longer it was open, the more syrupy it became and less enjoyable. Not worth $60.
