Mary Scott –
Excellent.
Timothy Courtney –
Thanksgiving wine with high expectations met. Beautiful garnet color, precise and focused. Red fruits with strawberry and a hint of cherry. Medium-bodied with fine tannins.
Rodney Jones –
Young and fresh Pinot with cherry and strawberry flavors and a bit of floral notes. Great acidity and enjoyable.
Terry Kennedy –
Good Fort Ross-Seaview, light, minerally, great aroma, short finish. Overhyped due to pedigree, overpriced. Prefer Peay Scallop Shelf, 40% cheaper and better QPR.
Betty Mcnicholas –
Double Blind Pinot from monthly wine group: Youthful, ripe strawberry and red berries with tangy tartness. Cool freshness and restraint. Surprisingly young.
Riley Porter –
Soft, dusty red with muted red cherry and raspberry. Seamless entry. Not enough richness, depth, or complexity. Will hold onto remaining bottles and wait.
Reva Porter –
Fruit-forward and easy to drink.
Paul Holtmeier –
Park90’s American Pinot had a sweet fruit profile that felt artificial and distracting.
Ruth Sparks –
Balanced, elegant, and delicious with notes of wildberry, flower, red plum, and mineral. Drinks well now with air, but will age beautifully. Enjoyed with shoyu chicken.
Carlos Davidson –
Drinkable now, may improve in 3-4 years, but overpriced.
Brian Salano –
Medium weight and color with restrained fruit and astringency. Needs more time to develop. Regionally unique but didn’t resonate with me.
Cornelius Sellman –
Light with good body and fruit, elegant with a long finish and good acidity. While a strong effort, for the price, I’d recommend other Sonoma coast wines like Hirsch or Peay.
Lisa Clanton –
Intense black cherry, spice, cola, and floral aroma. Medium acidity and tannins. Needs a few more years in the bottle to fully mature.
JS –
Extremely aromatic with plums, crushed strawberries, rose flower, powdery dirt, before turning to cherries. Hints of flower stems. Perfumed. Full-bodied and very, very firm. Rather steely. Tight at the end. It opens beautifully in an hour or so. Drink after 2025.
VIN –
The 2021 Pinot Noir Sea Field is intensely floral and full of flavor, with cool-climate savoriness driving a core of bright, red-toned fruit. Deceptively medium in body, the 2021 has a ton of complexity waiting to emerge. Time in the glass brings out compelling inner perfume and quite a bit of nuance. But, it is tightly wound and quite reticent at this stage.
