From the esteemed slopes of Mount Saint Helena in Knights Valley, the Peter Michael winery presents its distinguished Peter Michael Les Pavots Cabernet Sauvignon 2018. Crafted under the skilled guidance of winemaker Robert Fiore, this blend epitomizes the art of fine winemaking. Reflecting the rich heritage and the vibrant flora of its region, notably the wild California poppies, ‘Les Pavots’ encapsulates a harmonious symphony of flavors and aromas.
This blend is a masterful composition of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot. The vineyard, with its rocky volcanic-origin Rhyolite soil and a favorable south-facing exposure, rests at an elevation of 900″1,400 feet. The unique terroir, along with meticulous winegrowing practices, imparts a distinctive character to the wine.
