Critical Acclaim
Nose: Expressive aromas of red and dark berries intertwined with smoked meat, olives, and delicate florals create a harmonious bouquet.
Palate: A sappy and penetrating texture is introduced by gently sweet cherry-cola and blackberry flavors. These core notes are beautifully complemented by subtle hints of baking spice. Evident mineral undertones and the wine's fine detail exude an elegance that takes the taster on a journey of complexity and depth. The finish is long and subtly chewy, characterized by smokiness, harmonious tannins, and a strong persistence.
Food Pairings: Given its smoky and berry-forward profile, this wine would pair excellently with grilled lamb, beef stews, or rich vegetarian dishes that feature eggplant or mushrooms. The subtle baking spice notes suggest it would also complement dishes seasoned with herbs like rosemary or thyme.

Hubert Villaman –
Tasted at ViniCulture monthly tasting, Berlin, with two hours aeration in an erlenmeyer flask Dominant yet unobtrusive nose of fresh raw beef. No pepper. Drinks reall well already. Have to buy!
Kathleen Reid –
La Tablee: Graillot Dinner (Al Coro): Fresh and bright and black fruits and very primary in nature. Too young to drink now but give it some time to open up. Great QPR.
Mary Lang –
Well this is a first taste of this vintage , did open the bottle around 2 pm and poured a little in Zalto Burgundy , great notes came form the glass and the taste was with some woody notes along with dark berries. Well then at around 6 pm where i wanted it to go with my dinner it was kind of faded , and just round and plain, this holds true until 7:40 pm….so at this stages its kind of disappointing to me , as compared to the previous vintage ( 2019 ) which perfomed better at the same stage. Will be interesting to see how the remaining 5 bottles will do.
Aaron Woods –
Une jeunesse vivante et fraîche caractérisée par le fruit. 91 sans hésiter.
David Graves –
light purple colour in the glass and medium body. red and dark berry dominate the nose with accents of herbs, spice, black olives and charcuterie. was a bit reticent in mouth at first, with the fruit attack coming in slowly: these waves of red cherry and plum flavours are lifted by a notable freshness and accented by some spice notes and framed by rather fine tannins. long finish with a savoury bend.i sense upside potential for this already very good wine.13% AbV/ 100% Syrah
Kathleen Vangundy –
Arthur Davenport –
Decanted for two hours. A bit tight still, but beautiful.
Edith Verdino –
God. Bær og pepper, litt lær. Men trenger litt mer tid. Men forkjølet så kan ha litt å si
Sadie Snell –
Decanted for 30 minutes, then drank it for a couple of hours. Kept developing in the glass. Well balanced and showing fresh dark fruit character together with som leather and pepper combined with a nice use of oak maturation. Drinks beautifully now, but will probably gain some complexity with a few years in the cellar.
Christopher Trujillo –
Blindsmaking. Fersk lukt med rømme, røde bær, lett krydret lukt. Rein frukt med litt faste elementer. Vokser med temperatur krydret på smak også. Middels tanniner.
Eric Crispin –
Random wines tried during service (Oinsocent): The wine shows fragrance, youthful profile, juice red cherries, floral notes, a few bitter stalky ones too, black fruit notes, berriesIn the palate, the wine is juicy, full on black fruit, a few bitter notes, stalky, medium body, juicy tannins, medium finish
Sally Coleman –
Such a beautiful nose – lots of depth and purple fruit, but with charcoal minerality to it as well. Fresh and lively on the palate. This is also really darn good.
Donald Bender –
Pnp. Mørk frukt, rå potet og urter. Kraftig tannin. Uforløst. Trenger 2 år+
Donna Taylor –
Special bouquet with apple and stony mineral impressions. On the palate apple, fresh acidity, minerals and some bitterness in the finish.
George Leyrer –
Big, tannic & powerful. Compared to 2018, this has more pronounced fruit on the attack. I suppose that’s true because its younger, but the difference is noticeable. Same expression of terroir – clearly proud of its home address. A winner for me cause I like it earthy & French… so take from that what you will. It’s wines like this that make me yearn for the economic power to build a subterranean cellar and bury cases for later – if only…
VIN –
Saturated magenta. Displays expressive red and dark berry, smoked meat, olive and floral qualities on the spice-accented nose. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering gently sweet cherry-cola, blackberry and baking spice flavors that show fine detail and a mineral, back-end lift. Finishes very long and subtly chewy, with repeating smokiness, harmonious tannins and strong persistence.
