Domaine Alain Graillot

Nestled in Crozes-Hermitage in the northern Rhône, Domaine Alain Graillot has been crafting exceptional wines since its inception in 1985 by founder Alain Graillot. Initially relying on rented vineyards, the domaine quickly soared to fame, allowing Graillot to acquire these plots just three years later. The estate today boasts about 22 hectares, predominantly Syrah vines, complemented by plots of Marsanne and Roussanne.

Situated on sandy, gravelly terrains with alluvial stones, the vineyards produce a robust Syrah, particularly from the Crozes-Hermitage vineyard planted in 1973. Embracing organic farming, every grape is handpicked, ensuring impeccable quality. Their signature wine, La Guiraude from Crozes-Hermitage, is reserved for the best vintages. Today, under the stewardship of Alain’s sons, Antoine and Maxime, the domaine continues its illustrious journey, producing roughly 10,000 cases annually.
