Wine Description

With its inky purple hue, 2018 Laird Cabrnet Sauvignon ‘Napa Valley’ is a true showstopper. The aromatic nose plays delicately across your olfactory with notes of ripe plum, black cherry, boysenberry and oak spice. The palate is nicely balanced with soft tannins and juicy acidity, while concentrated flavors of cocoa, molasses, and blackberry preserve linger on the finish. This wine will pair wonderfully next to a grilled prime aged steak or your next cigar club meeting. Drink now through 2034.

The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from our favorite vineyards: Flat Rock, Mast Ranch, and Linda Vista Ranch. The blending of these vineyards creates a wine that offers bright acid, robust dark fruit, and firm, elegant tannins. A touch of Malbec was added to enhance the depth and structure of this wine, resulting in a wine that is fruity, delightfully balanced, and approachable.

  1. JS

Fruity nose of baked blueberries, ripe blackberries, cherry pie, sweet spices, licorice, tobacco leaves and chocolate. Full-bodied with firm, polished tannins. Beautifully rich, succulent core of blue and black fruit. Better from 2023.

  2. VIN

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a gorgeous appellation-level wine. Silky and plush, the 2018 offers tons of immediacy. Ripe dark cherry, plum, lavender, spice and methol are pushed forward in this succulent Cabernet from Laird. Enjoy it over the next decade.
