Goldeneye TEN DEGREES Pinot Noir 2021 exemplifies the essence of Anderson Valley’s world-class Pinot Noir. Crafted by the skilled hands of winemaker Kristen McMahan at Goldeneye Winery, this wine reflects the meticulous attention to detail and passion that Goldeneye, a label established by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, has for producing top-tier wines.

The visual allure of this wine is unmistakable, with a deep garnet hue that captures the eye, promising a rich tasting experience. It’s clear and vibrant appearance in the glass sets the stage for the complex flavors that follow.

The bouquet of the Goldeneye ten degrees Pinot Noir is both complex and enchanting. It starts with a mix of earthy sage and spicy anise, followed by a touch of cinnamon and the unique scent of fennel pollen. These aromas are beautifully underpinned by the wet stone minerality that is characteristic of the Goldeneye Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, showcasing the wine’s sophisticated profile.

On the palate, Goldeneye Pinot Noir 2021 is a marvel of balance and refinement. The silky tannins frame a core of fresh, pure fruit flavors including black cherry, cranberry, and an array of blueberries. The integration of subtle cedar and exotic cardamom spice carries through to a long, satisfying finish. The harmony of fruit and spice is a testament to the estate vineyard’s capacity to produce a concentrated and expressive Pinot Noir.

Reflecting the high standards of Goldeneye Winery, the 2021 vintage was a year marked by ideal climatic conditions that led to the early budbreak and balanced growth in the vineyards. The estate’s dedication to quality is evident in every aspect of their winemaking process, from the selective harvesting in the cool early mornings of September to the careful aging in French oak. The 2021 Goldeneye Pinot Noir was aged for 16 months in a combination of new and neutral oak, which contributes to its elegant structure and depth.

This 2021 Goldeneye Pinot Noir has garnered admiration and high scores from critics, reflecting its excellence. Wine Spectator awarded it 92 points, praising its juicy texture and layered flavors, while Decanter gave it 91 points for its ripe, fruit-forward character and complex spice notes.

Since its first harvest of modest beginnings, Duckhorn Goldeneye has developed a reputation for crafting exquisite Pinot Noir. The dedication of Dan and Margaret Duckhorn to this venture since March of 2000 has propelled the winery to the forefront of California’s wine scene, particularly in Napa Valley. With every vintage, Goldeneye not only captures the unique terroir of Anderson Valley but also reinforces its place as a distinguished name in luxury Pinot Noir.

In conclusion, Goldeneye TEN DEGREES Pinot Noir 2021 is more than just a wine; it’s a narrative of passion, precision, and the pursuit of perfection. This bottle is not merely a product of the Anderson Valley; it is a celebration of the region’s capacity to produce truly sublime Pinot Noir. Juicy and inviting, with tasty raspberry and mulberry notes infused with pine forest, red tea and wet earth accents. Keeps the fleshy, juicy feel through the lightly toasted finish. Drink now through 2028. 21,000 cases made.

Made in a ripe fruit-forward style, this Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley features oak-driven aromatics of cinnamon and Christmas spice accenting notes of kirsch, black cherry and gravelly dust. The palate leans into ripe berries, black plums, candied raspberry more of that spice. White pepper, along with notes of clove, cinnamon and oak spice, tip into a finish that does show just a touch of warmth. (Drink between 2023-2028)

Goldeneye Winery officially opened its doors in 1996, seizing an 80-acre ranch at the headwaters of the Navarro River. This inaugural estate, named Confluence...check our brand Goldeneye
