    Darioush Shiraz Signature Series 2018, red wine, sources the grapes from two vineyards : the winery owned estate vineyards in Napa Valley AVA and Oak Knoll AVA. The wine is 100% Shriaz as varietal. The winemake is Hope Goldie. A bevy of dense black fruits and savory spices unfold and persist on the palate’” plum, licorice, and black cherry maintain exceptional freshness and focus, while beautiful floral fragrances of lavender and rose hips reveal the wine’s nuanced varietal character. Bergamot, cola, smoked bacon, and Asian incense add dimension and depth across the long, rewarding finish.

      Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Shiraz waltzes out of the glass with bold expressions of baked blackberries, plum preserves and black cherry compote with hints of licorice, chocolate box and violets. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is chock-full of ripe, juicy black berries with soft, rounded tannins and a lively backbone, finishing with a peppery kick.
