In 2016, the Leonardini Family welcomed Jason Moulton as the esteemed winemaker at Whitehall Lane, and since then, he has been a driving force behind the winery’s commitment to excellence and sustainability. Jason’s enthusiasm for joining the Whitehall Lane team stemmed from the Leonardini’s unwavering dedication to sustainable traditions in both vineyards and winemaking.

With an impressive journey from cellar worker to cellar master, assistant winemaker to winemaker, Jason’s experience has been a global odyssey. He embarked on his winemaking career in Rutherford and embarked on a wine-making adventure that spanned the globe, touching vineyards in Napa Valley, Russian River, Canada, New Zealand, Bordeaux, and South Africa. Along the way, he had the privilege of collaborating with renowned winemakers such as Philippe Melka, David Ramey, Kale Anderson, and Ashley Heisey.

Jason’s diverse background and worldly wine experience have invigorated Whitehall Lane, infusing it with fresh ideas and innovative processes while wholeheartedly embracing the winery’s environmental sustainability ethos.
