Anthony Biagi, a sixth-generation Californian, has found his passion in winemaking, where he feels most at home working with his hands. With over two decades of experience, he is a veteran winemaker in Napa Valley, having left his mark on several renowned wineries including CADE, Clos Du Val, Hourglass, Paraduxx, Plumpjack, and Sinegal Estate. Tony’s forte lies in creating gracefully balanced, terroir-driven wines. Beyond producing excellent wines, he believes in nurturing the next generation of winemaking talents through mentorship, securing a bright future for the industry. As the winemaker for Amici Cellars and Olema, Tony emphasizes that great wines are crafted in the vineyard, using a method of small-batch winemaking to express the true essence of each vineyard block. His ultimate goal is to create wines that delight his team and confidently satisfy wine enthusiasts.
