    This is a unique vineyard within the Dry Creek AVA in Sonoma county, farmed by the Mauritson family for generations. The 2019 The Setting Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc is a wonderful mix of clones that is heavily influenced by the Musque clone that adds an aromatic pungency and weight on the pallet distinguishing it from other Sauvignon Blancs. The specific part of the vineyard has a gravel streak intermixing with the clay that provides vine that has a bit more intensity and lower yields than its neighbors.

      Mouthwatering and luscious, with intoxicating aromatics of melon, nectarines, white peaches and honeysuckle. The unique mix of oak barrels and native yeast add to the richness and complexity of this wine at the same time lifting the purity of the fruit and brightness of the wine. Tangerine, creme brûlée and hints of ripe kiwi come together with a long bright finish.
