Roserock Pinot Noir is a cuve selection from the estate’s 35 blocks, which are handpicked, sorted and individually fermented. While Pinot Noirs from the Eola-Amity Hills are typically known for their structure and power, Veronique Drouhin emphasizes Roserock’s elegant and refined qualities, making for a delicious and age worthy cuve.

    1. Kristine Thomas

Medium ruby in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spices & floral notes, earthy, minerals & a slight touch of vanilla/oak in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & blueberries with spices, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it does have the ripe fruit & firm structure for further development with additional aging.

    2. Katherine Wilson

Big nose here, really loaded with fruit and oak. Medium-full bodied and quite sweet. This is loaded with sweet red fruits, licorice and spice. There’s a LOT of oak and vanilla here. I’m not loving it, but most definitely will! 91Tatiana: 94

    3. Victor Elliott

My wife loved it, I am ambivalent, great bouquet, good fruit but it is disjointed from the tannins which are in the finish, sort of agree with other comments about being fruit forward, I think the wine lacks acid so we have fruit then tannin, it might be me as I am noticing this lately in a few wines, drank with salmon cakes, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts, 14.1% abv like all Domaine Drouhin wines- coincidence, Dominique? Might drink again need to see how the new DDO pn for 2021 tastes- Origine 34. Much cheaper locally than from the winery with a discount, dumping?

    4. Rocco Stuart

Medium bodied. I feel this wine has a definite “Burgundy” style to it…..but struggle to articulate this feeling with more specifics. I also sense that it will improve with time. So, will not rush to drink my other bottles.

    5. Mei Riley

      Excellent

    6. Geraldine Wendt

Beautiful wine. Fresh and tart with grippy and drying tannins. Almost Burgundian in style. Excellent stuff that made me buy more.

    7. Caryn Gomez

      Lighter

    8. Hazel Homa

definitely a step above the typical Oregon Pinot.

    9. Dean Barrera

Bouquet is a symphony of scents – if it were bottled it would attract the birds and the bees and the Pinotphiliacs. Entry is soft, round, sweet fruit delicately balanced, mild fruit acid, shades of wood. A pure, modest Pinot with natural beauty, flirting with your taste, a touch too pretty, too sweet one may ask, innocent of ambitions of a long life, no cold dark cellars for me.

    10. Dominque Crowder

A light style of pinot, reminds me a lot of a Volnay. The nose is very expressive – red fruit (perhaps cranberry?), floral, a little spicy. Light on the palate, not quite getting to the lightness of saying delicate. A little bit towards the ripe end of the spectrum. Delightful.

    11. Gladys Madison

Very pleasant with bright fruit on day one but wow what a wine on day 2. Picks up some weight on day 2 and starts to show its complexity. A great wine and a screaming value. Wow.

    12. Lupe Mayfield

Not great I would not buy again. A little too fruity and funky sort of the thing I like least about Oregon PinotBasically too fruit forward and lacks that structural elegance. Might be to oakeyA chance it will get better with age I guess but I just really don’t feel like the tannins are there, the oak is more vanilla

    13. Christian Buggs

Medium purple / bright ruby. Something faintly sharp and earthy on nose. Black raspberry, fairly light on the palate. Getting more put together after a couple hours, certainly suggestive of needing a decant or some more time.

    14. WS

Graceful and precise, with dynamic cherry and red plum flavors highlighted by fresh violet and brown spices, which glide on the long, sleek finish toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2032.

    15. JS

Bright and vibrant with savory notes, raspberries and dried wild strawberries, hints of chocolate orange and dried sage. So crunchy and fleshy on the palate with a medium body and round, creamy texture. Attractive, berry-soaked mid-palate with a toned and fresh finish. Drink or hold.
