Tommasi Viticoltori Description
Tommasi Viticoltori, a prominent wine producer, has its roots deeply embedded in the picturesque Veneto region of Italy. Established in 1902, this family-run winery is currently managed by the enterprising fourth generation.
Nestled in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone in Piedmont, Tommasi Viticoltori boasts vineyards in esteemed locations like La Groletta, Conca d’Oro, and Ca’Florian. Here, the grapes destined for Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Ripasso, Recioto, and the iconic Amarone wines flourish under careful cultivation.
Beyond the Valpolicella region, Tommasi extends its vinicultural expertise. In the enchanting Lago di Garda, Tenuta Fossa Granara crafts the exquisite Bardolino wines. In the Lugana region, Tenute San Martino is dedicated to producing exceptional Lugana wines.
Tommasi’s commitment to winemaking extends outside Veneto. In Lombardy, Tenuta Caseo in Oltrepò Pavese stands as a testament to their dedication. In the Tuscan paradise of Montalcino, Casisano estate (formerly Casisano Colombaio), acquired in 2015, produces remarkable wines. Poggio al Tufo in Maremma also contributes to their diverse portfolio. Masseria Surani in Manduria, Puglia, adds a touch of southern charm to their wine offerings.
Tommasi Viticoltori, with its century-old legacy and a commitment to quality, continues to create an impressive array of wines that reflect the rich terroirs of Italy’s diverse wine regions.
