Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley’s Rutherford sub-appellation, Flora Springs Winery & Vineyards has been an integral part of the region’s winemaking history since its establishment in 1978. However, the roots of this esteemed winery trace back to the late 1800s when the first wine grapes were planted on the very land that now houses their estate vineyards.

Jerry and Flora Komes, visionaries with a deep respect for tradition, embarked on a remarkable journey when they acquired the property. They lovingly restored a 19th-century abandoned winery, transforming it into the centerpiece of their winemaking operation.

Today, Flora Springs remains a family-owned and operated venture, led by third-generation vintners Nat Komes and Sean Garvey. Their commitment to sustainable farming practices is evident across the sprawling 260-hectare (650-acre) estate vineyards, which yield a diverse range of red and white wines. Notably, the Trilogy Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the Rutherford and Oakville AVAs, stands as an emblem of their dedication to crafting exceptional wines.

Among their signature offerings, you’ll discover a barrel-fermented Chardonnay, a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, and the more recent addition of a Family Select Chardonnay. Some of these exquisite wines are exclusively available through the winery and its esteemed wine club, ensuring that Flora Springs’ legacy of excellence continues to thrive.
