Wine Description
Walter Hansel’s Estate Pinot Noir is a beautiful, hand-crafted wine from one of our favorite boutique producers down the road from Kistler. Only made 300 cases produced. Walter Hansel selects estate grown fruit from a variety of vineyard sites for this offering. The predominant clone is from Rochioli cuttings that they have in various locations; they also add a small amount of Swan clone.

Jack Drake –
What a delight! Nose of fresh red fruit with a floral background and a whiff of light or neutral oak, medium bodied, balanced, fine sweet tannins, smooth mouthfeel and lilting finish. All of this makes for a scary good wine which may merit a higher score.
