Wine Description

2017 Rombauer Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is deep purple with a bright fuschia rim. The nose is expressive, with aromas of red cherry and sage with a hint of violet, spice, and toast. The wine is full-bodied, packed with flavors of raspberry and black cherry, along with notes of violet and toast from the oak. Supple tannins carry through to a fine and smooth finish.

There is little doubt that Rombauer Vineyards has become a winery that resonates with wine lovers of classic and balanced wines. The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon fits that description well. TASTING NOTES: This wine is posh and ready to perform. Its focused aromas and flavors of black fruits, oak, and their synergy should pair it well with a well-marbled, grilled ribeye.
