    1. WA

The Napa Valley vineyard sources for the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley were spread all the way from Calistoga to Coombsville. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it delivers bold, seductive scents of Black Forest cake, warm cassis and ripe black plums with hints of lavender, menthol and spice cake. The medium to full-bodied palate offers mouth-filling black fruit preserves flavors with a ripe, grainy texture and a long, spicy finish. 13,035 cases were made.

    2. JD

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Crossbarn comes from the superstar winemaker Paul Hobbs and is a solid value in 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet. Upfront violets, plums, exotic spices, and orange blossom notes all emerge from this expressive, medium to full-bodied, plush effort that has lots of charm. It has the vintage’s slightly firm tannins yet should keep nicely for 7-8 years, if not longer.

    3. JS

A juicy, fruity red with plum, blueberry, chocolate and some hazelnut. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a delicious finish. Always balanced and excellent quality. Drink in 2022.

    4. VIN

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is soft, plummy and wonderfully inviting. Inky dark fruit, licorice, spice, lavender and menthol build effortlessly in the glass, with silky tannins that add notable finesse. Dollops of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec round out the blend. The Crossbarn Cabernet is a blend of fruit from sites in Coombsville, Rutherford, Calistoga, Oak Knoll and Oakville.
