    The 2021 growing season set the stage with a mild winter and replenished water resources. Budbreak in April, flowering in May, and veraison in July led to a dry yet balanced summer. Handpicked clusters underwent meticulous pressing, slow fermentation, and six months of maturation on fine lees.

    Critics acclaim this vintage. Raffaele Vecchione of WinesCritic.com awards 94 points, praising its rich, tense profile with floral and herbal notes.     Ornellaia, a top-tier winery, is comfortably situated in Tuscany's coastal Bolgheri appellation, a place well-known for its superb wines. This winery opened its doors in 1981 and quickly became famous for producing some of Italy's most luxurious wines. The vineyards of Ornelia are strategically placed near the coast, benefiting from the mild sea breezes and diverse soil types, including alluvial, volcanic, and marine. These conditions are perfect for growing the Bordeaux grape varieties used in their wines. The winemaking process at Ornelia wine is meticulous. Grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. Each grape type and section of the vineyard is processed separately in stainless steel tanks.
