    Ellman Family Vineyards ‘The Estate’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a barrel selection of the finest fruit from an organic family vineyard located in California’s North Coast. This new release was crafted by renowned winemaker Andy Erickson, who has strived to bring out the best qualities of the terroir. With its deep and brooding ruby hue, intense flavors and aromas, and considerable power on the palate, this estate-grown vintage is a thing of beauty.

    The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has a nose bursting with aromas of tarragon, Spanish cedar, caffa crema, and vibrant Attika cherries. As enticing as this bouquet is, the palate reveals even more complexity with layers of elderberry, cassis, sarsaparilla, chorizo, wild mushrooms, hibiscus, bittersweet chocolate, and strongly, yet reassuringly, tannic structure.

    The climate has played an important role in the creation of this fine wine, with cool nights allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, creating a beautifully intricate flavor profile. Erickson’s meticulous winemaking processes including barrel aging it have further enhanced the structure and mass.

    This estate Cabernet Sauvignon has received overwhelming praise from critics, and award-winning sommelier, Antonio Galloni gave it a 96 point rating. And with extended cellaring, it’ll only get better!

      Deep purple color, vanilla blueberry coffee cake, plum, and raspberry on the nose. Smooth palate with firm tannins. Drinking well, but can improve in the next year or two.

      Deep, electric purple color with a nose of sugar plum, fresh mint, and raspberry jelly. Smooth, chewy palate with full tannins and great acidity. Seamless integration.

      Needs shorter decant time. Deep magenta color. Boysenberry, blackberry, freesia, wool blanket, and vanilla extract on the nose. Full bodied, dry, and smooth palate. Firm tannins on the long finish. Not a value compared to Jemma.

      Surprising & brilliant with notes of fig, blueberry & liquorice. Ultra long finish. Classic Napa Cabernet at its best.
