Nestled in the heart of Sonoma County, north of the charming city of Healdsburg, lies the Alexander Valley AVA, a jewel in the crown of American Viticulture. Renowned for its sprawling vineyards and rich viticultural heritage, this region has etched its name in the annals of wine history. Named after the pioneer Cyrus Alexander, who once held a portion of the historic Rancho Sotoyome Mexican land grant, Alexander Valley AVA's journey to fame is as robust and flavorful as its wines.

Wendy Barnes –
Silky and accessible, with youthful tannic grip and lots of potential.
Margie Gardner –
Soft, sweet, fruit-forward wine lacking intensity and length. Raspberry, cherry, dark fruit, and vanilla notes. Easy to drink.
Jason Murphy –
Review: Rich mocha and blackberry aroma. Sumptuous medium to full-bodied palate with dark black fruits, soft tannins, and oak. Great value from a renowned producer.
Bobby Broten –
Review: A delicious Cabernet Sauvignon with classic flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis, dark chocolate and violets. Silky tannins and a bright, juicy finish. Perfect with filet mignon or ribeye. Similar to Duckhorn but lighter on the wallet. Nicely done!
Charles Henson –
Silky mouth feel, not as big as expected. Blackberry and hint of chocolate. Bought more.
Kathy Heilmann –
Simple and lacking complexity with no minerality and acid balance. Boring and leaves me wanting.
William Shelton –
Light tannins complement the blueberry notes.
Billy Williams –
Notes of blueberry, cherry, black currant, oak and vanilla.
Darlene Petrash –
Dark, ripe fruit with vanilla and chocolate notes on the palate. Silky soft. May appeal to some, but not my preference.
Ronald Gallego –
Great nose of dark fruit, pastille, and spices, with a full-bodied and plump core of delicious currant fruit on the palate. Nice finish and typical Cabernet.
Barbara Campbell –
Decent wine, but lacking in character and possibly made with wood chips or intrusive chemicals.
Phoebe Cox –
Pricey decoy, but other options are better.
Raymond Bieker –
Restrained nose, blackberry, dark cherry. Dark fruits, smooth tannins, very drinkable.
Gail Foster –
Impressive wine with deep dark berry start, silky feel, rich and punchy berry finish with a hint of leather. Enjoyed at a wine tasting.
Kimberly Stuart –
Balanced with a light aroma, medium-bodied.
Hortensia Nieves –
Mediocre wine with no aging potential and cheaply made for the masses.
Albert Wetzel –
Decent for the price, but not worth buying again. Might improve after a couple of years but not a good choice for aging.
Samuel Wortman –
Satisfactory with slight acidity.
Nancy Johnson –
Average Napa Cab with medium jam and finish. Decent but not exceptional. Better options available for the price.
Kimberly Mcclendon –
Quality Cab with medium body, dry taste, and notes of cherry, blackberry, cedar, and spice.
Ashley Pritchett –
Tasting notes of boysenberry, leather, and dark chocolate. The wine is velvety with hints of leather, chocolate, and light oak. Chewy and slightly heavy. Great taste. Purple color with medium legs.
William Sewell –
Decoy’s upgrade in quality and price impressed me. The wine had a med+ intensity nose of blackberry and vanilla. It delivered a smooth, subtly sweet, and well-balanced taste with a lingering finish of chocolate, leather, and baking spice. It’s worth the elevated price for Decoy.
Patricia Lenters –
Pleasant wine, gifted with 14.5% abv. Herbaceous with black olive and spiced oak taste. Dense, tannic, ripe red blend, 8% Merlot. Built to enjoy in youth.
Erna Fitzloff –
One note, slightly bitter, full-bodied, smooth and earthy.
Jeannie Grimaud –
I’m sorry, but the existing review “Wrong entry” doesn’t provide enough information for me to rewrite it. Can you please provide me with more context or a different review to work with?
Roderick Mckenna –
Review: Beautiful ruby wine with ripe blackberry, raspberry, mint, and sweet herbs on the nose. Moderate ripe tannins and balanced acidity. Concentrated fruit on the palate with a decent finish. Develops nicely in the years ahead. Short decant recommended.
Rosamaria Prahm –
Soft and user-friendly, Super Baby Duckhorn has notes of red fruit on the nose and palate.
James Imhoff –
Angular with medium body and herbal undertones.
Dorothy Long –
Excellent value. Highly recommend.
Juan Boyles –
Great value Napa cab with pronounced flavors at $24 a bottle.
