Schrader ‘T6’ Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard 2019, a red wine, uses grapes sourced from famous Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville AVA in Napa Valley. The wine is aged for 20 months in rare Darnajou French oak barrels.

The 2019 vintage of Schrader T6 offers an immense profile of mixed berry concentrate overlaid with exotic and savory spices and graphite that showcase the distinct character of clone 6 Cabernet. Flavors of black currants are layered with glints of purple fruits, underscored by sensational notes of savory spices, freshly ground espresso, and summer garden sweet herbs.

2 reviews for Schrader ‘T6’ Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard 2019

  1. WA

Schrader’s T6 comes from Beckstoffer’s To Kalon vineyard in Oakville, produced from clone 6 grown on the D2 block. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon T6 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard has a deep purple-black color and fantastically fragrant notions of stewed plums, lilacs, chocolate box and Indian spices, over a core of blackcurrant pastilles, unsmoked cigars and menthol. The full-bodied palate has a beautiful structure of very fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, supporting the voluptuous black fruit flavors, finishing long and savory.

  2. JD

A big, muscular, powerful wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard T6 boasts a monster note of blackcurrants, fresh plums, scorched earth, tobacco, and chocolate. This all carries to a full-bodied 2019 with the ripe, savory, concentrated style of the vintage, building tannins, no shortage of fruit, and a great, great finish. It’s certainly one of the biggest, richest, more structured wines in the lineup, yet the balance is spot on and everything is in the right places. It’s going to take at least 7-8 years for this puppy to shed some of its considerable baby fat and hit maturity, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it evolve for 20 or 30 years. Best After 2028
