Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (from Beckstoffer’s To Kalon vineyard, produced from clone 4 grown on the C1 block), this barrel sample of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard casts an opaque purple-black color and fragrant notes of violets, underbrush and Indian spices over a core of blackcurrant pastilles, baked plums and Morello cherries, plus a hint of spearmint. The full-bodied palate is full-on decadent, jam-packed with plush textured black fruit preserves and finishing long and harmonious.

Gorgeous tobacco, chocolate, damp earth, and assorted black and blue fruits emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard CCS. Concentrated, full-bodied, and awesomely textured, it shares a lot of similarities with the 2018 and it’s going to be up there on the scale once bottled.
