Introducing the Paul Lato Lancelot Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021, a masterpiece crafted by renowned winemaker Paul Lato. According to Jeb Dunnuck, this wine achieves a remarkable 98 points, reflecting its exceptional quality.

This wine is a true expression of the Santa Lucia Highlands terroir. Pouring a radiant garnet hue, it entices the senses with an intoxicating bouquet of cherry and boysenberry. As you delve deeper, subtle notes of crushed stone and delicate lavender emerge, hinting at the wine’s profound complexity.

On the palate, the Lancelot Vineyard Pinot Noir unveils its full-bodied character, with a rich and concentrated core of dark fruit. The youthful, yet refined tannins provide structure, ensuring a harmonious balance. The wine’s journey culminates in a lingering, sapid finish that leaves an indelible impression.

What truly sets this vintage apart is the undeniable sense of minerality, a hallmark of the Lancelot Vineyard. Bright red fruits dance with white flowers, crushed stone, and violet-like aromas and flavors, creating an intricate symphony of sensations. This wine is tightly wound and impeccably structured, promising to evolve gracefully over time.

Whether savored now to experience its robust fruit or carefully cellared for years to come, the 2021 Paul Lato Lancelot Vineyard Pinot Noir is a testament to the craftsmanship of Paul Lato and Jeb Dunnuck’s discerning palate. Indulge in a bottle and embark on a journey through the Santa Lucia Highlands that will continue to unfold until 2033.

I always find an incredible sense of minerality from this site, and the 2021 Pinot Noir Lancelot Pisoni Vineyard has bright red fruits, white flowers, crushed stone, and violet-like aromas and flavors. Rich, medium to full-bodied, tight, and structured, it's flawlessly balanced and has a great finish. Hide bottles for 2-3 years and enjoy through 2033.

Paul Lato

Paul Lato's story in the winemaking industry is an inspiring narrative of dedication, skill, and a little bit of serendipity. Originating from Poland, Lato began his career in the world of wine as a certified Sommelier in the bustling upscale dining environment of Toronto. It was here that his initial intrigue with wine began to flourish into a deeper passion. However, it was a fateful trip to California's renowned wine country in the early 1990s that marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in his life. Lato's move to California was more than just a change of scenery; it was a leap of faith into a new world full of possibilities. This decision was significantly influenced by Jim Clendenen of ABC Winery & Clendenen Wines, who played a pivotal role in guiding Lato towards... More Products
