The Lail Vineyards Blueprint Sauvignon Blanc 2022, created by renowned winemaker Philippe Melka, celebrates the commitment of Lail Vineyards’ to the Porto Protocol – a global initiative asking companies to demonstrate their leadership on climate action. This white wine, produced in Napa Valley, showcases exemplary quality and taste with only 888 cases produced.

Having hailed from recognized vineyards Coombsville and Yountville, the Blueprint Sauvignon Blanc 2022 shows a bright yellow-green hue in the glass. On the nose, it is characterized by fresh and fragrant aromas of honeydew melon, tangerine, green and yellow apple, lime, and Asian pear. On the palate, it has a creamy and complex texture that carries grapefruit, jasmine, and Bartlett pear flavors. Notes of citrus zest, sweet pea, mango, and yellow peach also come through, giving it vibrancy and zest.

Critics have noted the wine’s ability to show a range of richness and hints of honey backed up by steely, gravelly notes, light grasses and whispers of Meyer lemons. Its flavor profile was also praised for its suppleness and slight polish, which is coupled with the ability to firm up across the palate with cellaring.
