    Power meets finesse, with a core of dense complexity wrapped in dynamic blackberry, smoky meat, crushed stone and pepper flavors that build toward big but refined tannins.

    The very deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Syrah Mt. Veeder has a lifted nose of red and black cherries, black raspberries and rose hip tea with hints of wild blueberries, bouquet garni and olives. The palate is medium-bodied, very refreshing, spicy and elegant with nice rounded tannins and a long finish.
