Wine Description

Crafted by winemaker Julien Howsepian at Kosta Browne, the 2021 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a testament to the region’s unique terroir. This wine opens with a bright and inviting hue, reminiscent of fresh red fruit. The aromas are delightful, offering a bouquet that evokes the earthy essence of the vineyard, mingling with hints of pine, clove, and the warmth of a cinnamon stick.

Upon tasting, the wine reveals its soft and velvety character, enveloping the palate with the juicy flavors of cranberry, cherry, and ripe strawberry. Expect to encounter red fruit notes like cherry and raspberry, accompanied by earthy undertones, floral hints, and sometimes a touch of spice. Each region brings its own terroir and climate, contributing to the wine's character. Burgundy, for instance,... Read More
