Gap’s Crown Vineyard is considered by many to be one of the best representations of what the Petaluma Gap AVA, the southern component of Sonoma Coast, is all about. Since we began working with this site in 2006, its meteoric rise into the pantheon of great Pinot Noir vineyards has been extraordinary.

Made from five clones and fermented in an array of stainless steel, concrete, and wood vessels, the 2020 Gap’s Crown Vineyard Pinot is as exuberant as it is irresistible, revealing layers of sun-kissed blackberry, cedar, and spices. Soft and silky, its dark fruit flavors flow across the palate, underscored by velvety tannins, finishing with a wealth of energy, drive, and power.
