Ghost Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, a red wine, uses Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from Oakville AVA in California. The wine has 14.50% ABV. Along with 96% of Cabernet Sauvignon varietal, the winemaker Kristi Koford, has also used small amounts of Petit Verdot and Malbec to balance the wine. After the fermentation. this Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 24 months in 60% new French oak barrels.

The aromas of 2018 is a delightful combination of a rich woody smell with hints of leather, blackberry and ripe plum, as well as sultry tones of dusty ground and leather. Undertones include delicious bay leaf and baking spices. The superb black cherry, boysenberry and cassis flavors are complemented by subtle hints of tobacco leaf on the tongue. The rich, well-integrated tannins provide a pleasant taste experience that ends with a lengthy, elegant finish.

This wine shows aromas of black fruit and sweet vanilla, as well as some minty undertones. Full-bodied with quite an overripe-fruit character, yet balanced. Warm and delicious. Drink now.
