Double Zero (00 Wines) VGW Chardonnay 2019, a white wine, uses grapes sourced from Willamette Valley AVA in Oregon. The color is golden hue with great deal of exotic aromas of crushed apples, roasted almonds, intense grapefruit, touches of dried white flowers and savory green herbs in the background. The mouth feel is silky texture with peaches, smooth honey and spice.

4 reviews for Double Zero (00 Wines) VGW Chardonnay 2019

    1. WE

Double Zero (00 Wines) has already established a reputation for spectacular Chardonnays that perfectly express the special qualities of the best Oregon versions. Bright and spicy, balanced and long, this brings together fresh fruit flavors of apple and peach and melon along with a creamy, lightly buttery mouthfeel. Key lime, lemon curd, banana cream pie—such impressions ramble through the mind while sipping this gem.

    2. WA

Crafted from Dijon clone fruit, the 2019 Chardonnay VGW gains richness with time in the glass, blossoming from salted almonds and stone to white flowers and citrus. The medium-bodied palate is sleek, tangy and youthfully linear with honeyed, nutty touches hinting at more to come, and it finishes with tremendous energy and mineral character. Allow it another 2-3 years in bottle at least.

    3. JD

The 2019 Chardonnay VGW is fresh with white flowers, orange peel, and light flint. It has more tension on the palate, with fresh lime, delicate vanillin spice, and lasting floral notes on the back end. True to the vintage, it is a bit more subtle in its personality. although I think this will be an incredible wine as it matures over the next 10 or more years.

    4. JS

A perfumed nose of baked lemons, poached pears, grated nutmeg and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied with silky tannins and texture. Soft and supple with lovely length. Bright and fresh.
