Andrew Haugen, hailing from Southern California, delved into the world of wine inspired by the movie Sideways during his tenure at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Combining his biology background with a newfound passion, he embarked on a wine journey, garnering expertise from global wineries like Stonestreet, Church Road, Howard Park, and Gran Moraine. Joining Odette Estate Winery in 2015, Haugen has steadily climbed the ranks from cellar master to assistant winemaker, now assuming the role of head winemaker. With meticulous oversight of daily operations for Odette and Adaptation labels, he collaborates closely with Vineyard Manager Oscar Renteria, steering the winemaking excellence at the picturesque Oso Vineyard in Pope Valley.
