At the helm of d’Arenberg, Chester Osborn presides over an illustrious Australian winery. Immersed in the family trade from an early age, he fondly recalls his humble start picking grapes at seven, earning a meager wage. After formal winemaking studies and European exploration, he succeeded his father as chief winemaker in 1984. Chester’s unwavering commitment to quality drove vineyard transformations and revived traditional techniques like foot treading.
