The Setting Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a powerful and seductive wine crafted entirely from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the prestigious Battle Family and Stuhlmuller Vineyards. This Alexander Valley Cabernet 2021 is a deep, dark ruby color with aromas of cherry, dark chocolate, rose petal, and a hint of cinnamon. Crafted by world-renowned winemaker Jesse Katz, this wine is vibrant, fresh, and refined, showcasing Katz’s skill and dedication to his craft. It matures for 22 months in 80% new French oak, which adds a complex, plush texture and a well-knit, rounded body to the palate.
Each sip offers a lush, intense experience, accentuating bright acidity and elegant tannins. The palate is medium-bodied yet full of depth and complexity, with notes of aniseed, mocha, and maraschino cherries.
