   Elegant blend of black and red fruits with subtle oak. Silky palate, with cherry, cassis, and raspberry. Finish reveals spice and earthy tones. Good wine, but price has gone up. Enjoyed over a date night at Chandlers in Petoskey.

    The Mascot impresses with its blackberry and cherry aromas, cassis and cherry flavors, and a long finish. While it could continue to evolve, it drinks well now. Hold onto it for 2-10+ years.

    Cork was wet but wine had no flaws. Elegant, smooth, and silky with restrained fruit. Label doesn’t match the wine’s character. Overpriced, didn’t improve over three nights.

    Impressive dark magenta hue. Aromas of cherry, coconut cream pie, honeysuckle, cinnamon, rain on hot pavement, and subtle sweet basil. Smooth, dry palate with firm tannins. Improved since last tasted. Young CS with great balance and complexity.
