Wine Description

The Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a classic cabernet that showcases a panoply of dark flavors, including black cherry, ripe plum, Cubano tobacco, graphite, and sandalwood, with underlying notes of tar and chocolate. This wine, from Pride Mountain Vineyards, exhibits beautiful tannins, weighty without being ponderous, and refined without being delicate. It provides a contemplative experience with persistent notes of black and red fruit echoing through a long finish.

In the glass, this wine shows a deep, purplish hue. The aromatics are effusive, melding dark blue and purplish fruit with scents of cassis, cherry, and cedar. The blend includes 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Merlot, and 2.5% Petit Verdot, providing roundness and acidity to the final product. The wine was bottled in July 2021, with a production of pride wine bottles (5,474 cases) and released in November 2021.
