The Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a classic cabernet that showcases a panoply of dark flavors, including black cherry, ripe plum, Cubano tobacco, graphite, and sandalwood, with underlying notes of tar and chocolate. This wine, from Pride Mountain Vineyards, exhibits beautiful tannins, weighty without being ponderous, and refined without being delicate. It provides a contemplative experience with persistent notes of black and red fruit echoing through a long finish.

In the glass, this wine shows a deep, purplish hue. The aromatics are effusive, melding dark blue and purplish fruit with scents of cassis, cherry, and cedar. The medium to full-bodied profile offers terrific depth and balance, with elements of licorice, fruit notes, herbs, and subtle cedar notes lingering on the palate. The tannins are silky and ripe, adding a softly dusty flourish to the lingering finish.

The 2019 vintage from Napa Valley of Napa county, was near perfect, with balanced vine growth and orderly ripening. The grapes were harvested between October 16th and November 12th. After fermentation in stainless steel vats, the wine was aged in French oak barrels, with 50% new and 50% neutral oak.

The blend includes 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Merlot, and 2.5% Petit Verdot, providing roundness and acidity to the final product. The wine was bottled in July 2021, with a production of pride wine bottles (5,474 cases) and released in November 2021.

The winemaker, Matt Ward, crafted this wine with care. The 2019 Pride Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the unique terroir of the vineyards, with 65% of the grapes coming from Sonoma and 35% from Napa.

The Pride Mountain wine shows an earthy profile with mountain herbs, cracked pepper, leather, pencil shavings, and cigar box nuances. The dark fruits of blackcurrants and black cherries of pride cabernet sauvignon 2019 provide a lifted freshness to these earthy components.

Critics acclaim the 2019 Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, highly. Mel from Famelounge-PS awarded it 92 points, praising its classic structure and beautiful tannins. The Wine Advocate rated it 91 points, noting the attractive shadings of sage and bay and classic cassis and cherry scents.

Jeb Dunnuck also gave it 91 points, highlighting the darker blue, plummy fruits, and classic cabernet herbal and cedary nuances. Vinous awarded it 93 points, emphasizing the terrific depth and balance of this refined vintage.

This pride cabernet sauvignon is a must-have for wine enthusiasts. Pride wines of pride winery napa California are known for their exceptional quality, and this vintage is no exception. The pride wine price is justified by its complexity and the meticulous care taken in its production.

Purchase from Famelounge-PS for club membership discounts, best prices, and superior shipping and storage. This pride mountain wine is perfect for both Bordeaux drinkers and Napa/Sonoma drinkers, offering a stellar showing of mountain fruit.

Color: The wine boasts a deep, inviting red hue that gives a sneak peek into its richness and depth.
Nose: Upon first sniff, you'll be enveloped by an aromatic, high-toned bouquet featuring exotic notes of nag champa incense mixed with the unique Pride garrigue aroma. This is complemented by refreshing mint, tart cherry, and lush blackberry scents, creating a complex and harmonious sensory experience.
    Palate:
Flavor Profile: Your palate will be treated to an intricate tapestry of flavors, ranging from dark fruits such as plums and blackberries to fragrant notes of bergamot oil. This is beautifully interwoven with warm spices like cinnamon and anisette, as well as earthy graphite and rich cedar wood.
Body of the Wine: The full-bodied nature of this wine is a testament to its premium quality, offering a rich and voluptuous mouthfeel without being overly heavy or cumbersome.
Tannin Structure: The mountain-tannins are expertly balanced, providing just the right amount of structure to support the wine's complex flavor profile.
Sweetness Levels: As a dry wine, the absence of sweetness allows the fruit and spice flavors to shine through in all their glory.

Food Pairings:This wine would pair exceptionally well with a variety of foods, ranging from grilled meats like steak or lamb chops to hearty stews and rich, aged cheeses.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic Pride wine. Effusive aromatics meld into a core of dark blue/purplish fruit. Medium in body, but with terrific depth, 2019 has a lot going on. This is an especially refined vintage for the Cabernet Sauvignon. All the elements are so nicely balanced. Cedar, tobacco, licorice and dried herbs linger.
