The 2021 Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning wine from the renowned Philip Togni Vineyard. This estate-bottled Philip Togni wine showcases the best of California’s Napa Valley, particularly the Spring Mountain District. Handcrafted by the legendary winemaker Philip Togni, supported by his daughter who is assistant winemaker of this Cabernet Sauvignon blend includes Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, modeled after Bordeaux’s Margaux AOC.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep garnet-purple color. The nose opens with a soaring, exotic bouquet of hard candy, mint, lavender, Kirsch, and spice. These aromas are beautifully layered, making a strong statement from the first whiff. On the palate, the wine is pliant and creamy, with a mind-blowing textural finesse.
