Crafted by winemaker Todd Graff, this Frank Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a seamless blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Each varietal supports the overall structure, with Merlot adding supple roundness, Petit Verdot contributing rich color and structure, and Cabernet Franc bringing refined polish and finesse.
The grapes for this Frank family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa 2022 were carefully sourced from Frank Family’s estate vineyards, including S&J Vineyard in Capell Valley and Benjamin Vineyard in Rutherford. Additional vineyard sources include Quarry Vineyard, Round Pond Estate, and Shooting Star Vineyard, each playing a part in crafting this exceptional wine. The wine was aged for 20 months in 33% new French oak barrels and 67% once- and twice-used barrels, adding a warm, refined, and sophisticated character.
Visually, the wine impresses with its dense garnet-purple color, immediately inviting you into its rich and robust character. Aromatically, it delivers perfumed notes of blackberry, currants, cassis, and hints of sage, cedar, and spice.
