This vintage shows a deep, alluring amethyst-purple color, revealing a rich and juicy core of black cherry, blackberry, and plum. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, wild violet, and rose petal greet the nose, supported by subtle hints of espresso, mocha, and baked blueberries. The wine’s texture is structured and plush, with signature “Rutherford Dust” tannins giving it a firm grip and velvety-smooth mouthfeel.
On the palate, the BV Rutherford Cab offers layers of dark fruit flavors, including blackcurrant, balanced by hints of cedar, cocoa powder, and oak spices.
