The 2019 Scarecrow M Etain Wine is a stunning expression of Napa Valley’s finest vineyards from Scarecrow winery. Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Celia Welch, this Cabernet blend is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 4% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. Grown in Rutherford, Napa Valley, the vines benefited from a generous rainfall in 2019, followed by a mild growing season, which allowed the fruit to develop beautifully balanced acidity and tannins. The fruit was harvested by hand, sorted, and fermented in small stainless-steel tanks before being aged in French oak barrels for 17 months. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration in April 2021. The 2019 Scarecrow is a wine that represents craftsmanship at its finest.
