The Mascot

The Mascot brand of wine represents a unique Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon red wine sourced from younger vines (7-12 years old) found in replanted blocks within the hillside vineyards of BOND, Harlan Estate, and Promontory.

Initially, this project was on a small scale, primarily enjoyed by the Harlan family, their winemaking team, and close associates. The first vintage released was in 2008. As time passed, the production increased to around 500 cases, prompting the decision to make it commercially available to the public.

The wine is carefully released when it reaches a delightful and vibrant fruit flavor, ensuring its readiness to be enjoyed. Beyond its own merits, The Mascot aims to provide a glimpse into the aging process and improvements experienced by the wines from the aforementioned estates.
