Located in Oakville, California’s Napa Valley, PlumpJack Winery is renowned for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wines crafted in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains. The estate spans 42 acres and boasts a diverse terroir, comprising well-drained hillside sites and fertile clays on the valley floor. This diversity is beautifully reflected in the collection of Cabernet Sauvignon wines offered by PlumpJack.

In addition to their estate vineyards, PlumpJack sources fruit from trusted grower vineyards situated in Carneros, Rutherford, and Calistoga. This allows them to produce a delightful range of varietal wines, including Syrah, Merlot, and Chardonnay.

PlumpJack Winery employs a variety of winemaking techniques to create their exceptional wines. The fermentation process takes place in either stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, utilizing both wild and introduced yeast. Various oak treatments are also employed, ranging from the use of new and old French oak barriques to 500-liter puncheons.

Founded in 1995 by Gavin Newsom and Gordon Getty, PlumpJack has since become part of a notable collection of hotels, restaurants, retailers, and wineries in Napa and San Francisco. Among their portfolio are the esteemed CADE winery in Napa and Odette in the Stags Leap District.
