Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Napa Valley, Paraduxx Winery stands as a testament to the spirit of innovation within the world of winemaking. Established in 1994 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, this unique winery was founded to explore new winemaking styles while staying true to the essence of Napa Valley’s charm.

The journey of Paraduxx began with a bold decision to blend 4 tons of Zinfandel sourced from Napa’s historic Korte Vineyard with Duckhorn Vineyards’ estate Cabernet Sauvignon. This innovative approach gave birth to their inaugural vintage, a remarkable blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, and Petite Sirah, setting the stage for the visionary blends that would soon captivate wine enthusiasts.

Dedicated exclusively to crafting Napa Valley blends, Paraduxx sought to combine the finest fruits from local winegrowers with their estate grapes. To achieve this, they acquired the 39-acre Rector Creek Vineyard in Yountville in 1994. This vineyard, with its unique climate and rocky alluvial soils, became the future home of Paraduxx Winery and the canvas for their first estate plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Franc.

Over the years, Paraduxx’s winemaking team has played a pivotal role in shaping the winery’s identity. In 2019, Cardiff Scott-Robinson assumed the role of Paraduxx’s winemaker, bringing a wealth of international experience and a passion for creating exceptional contemporary blends. His mastery of multiple grape varieties, gained from working on two continents, continues to add to the winery’s legacy of excellence.
